BRAND IDENTITY AND WEBSITE

The Universitasu Inkubators (UniLab) project was a challenging and exciting undertaking that I had the privilege of working on. As the designer tasked with creating a new brand identity for the organization, my goal was to develop a fresh and modern look that would accurately represent their work and values. The project involved redesigning the logo, establishing a color palette and visual identity, developing a website, and creating social media and event materials.

RESEARCH AND CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

In order to create an effective brand identity, I conducted extensive research on the logos and websites of other business incubators. This helped me gain a better understanding of the industry and its design trends. During the first meeting with the client, we discussed the main direction and concept for the logo, including the message it should convey and the overall style. This gave me a clear vision to work towards as I began the sketching and brainstorming phase, which eventually led to the creation of two logo variants.

LOGO AND BRAND IDENTITY

Based on the agreed-upon direction and concept, I created two logo variations that captured the desired look and feel. The chosen logo went through two iterations, with the final version featuring a clean, modern design that represented the organization's mission and values.

Once the logo was finalized, I developed the brand identity, which included establishing a color palette, selecting fonts, and creating design elements. Two color palette options were presented to the client, and after deliberation, we chose a purple and yellow combination that evoked a sense of creativity, innovation, and professionalism. This color scheme was carried throughout the entire brand identity, creating a cohesive look across all materials.

In addition to the color palette, I developed a set of design elements, such as patterns and shapes, that complemented the logo and added visual interest to the brand identity. These design elements were used across various materials, including the website and social media graphics. Overall, the logo and brand identity successfully captured the essence of UniLab and created a distinctive and recognizable visual identity for the organization.

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

With the logo and brand identity established, the next step was to develop a website for Unilab that would showcase their work and services. Before starting the website design, I conducted research on the websites of competitors in the business incubator industry to identify best practices and design trends.

During discussions with the client, we established a clear structure for the website that would allow users to easily navigate and access information. Using Tilda, a website building platform, I designed and developed a modern and user-friendly website that featured the new brand identity. The website included key information about Universitasu Inkubators, their services, success stories, and contact information. It also featured a blog section where the organization could share their news, events, and updates.

Throughout the website development process, I worked closely with the client to ensure that their vision and needs were met.

SOCIAL MEDIA

In addition to the website, I also developed social media and event materials for UniLab. These materials played a crucial role in increasing the organization's visibility and promoting their services and events to a wider audience.

Using the established brand identity, I designed social media banners that were consistent with the overall look and feel of the website and other materials. The banners included eye-catching graphics, the logo, and key messaging, and were optimized for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

For events, I designed covers for Facebook events and provided templates for event flyers and posters. These materials were designed to be visually engaging and informative, with a focus on the organization's branding and messaging.

Finally, I created a presentation template that UniLab could use for their business presentations and meetings. This template featured the new brand identity and design elements and was designed to be easy to use and customize.

Overall, the social media and event materials successfully extended the reach of UniLabs' brand and helped to build a stronger and more recognizable presence in their industry.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the UniLab rebranding project was a success in creating a new visual identity that accurately represents the organization's mission and values. By conducting thorough research and concept development, designing a modern and memorable logo, and creating a cohesive brand identity, the organization was able to establish a distinctive and recognizable visual presence in their industry.

The website, social media, and event materials that were developed further extended the reach of the new brand identity and helped to increase the visibility of the organization. With a professional and cohesive new look, UniLab is well-positioned to continue to grow and achieve its goals as a leading business incubator.
